Nathan Pettry - Director

As the Director and Board Member of 1ST Amendment Network, I bring a diverse skill set and a wealth of experience across multiple industries. My background includes a Bachelor's in Business Management and Entrepreneurship, complemented by a two- year degree from Ohio Media School. During my time there, I gained invaluable radio experience through an internship at 99.7 The Blitz, which ignited my passion for media and entertainment. Currently, I am the owner of The Generalist LLC, a business that reflects my entrepreneurial spirit and ability to adapt to various industries. In addition to my current venture, I have previously owned and operated The Patio Bar and Grill, where I honed my expertise in hospitality management, customer relations, and daily operations. Additionally, I founded Breaking Dark Entertainment, an event coordination company that specialized in organizing live music events and entertainment throughout the greater Columbus area. This role allowed me to develop strong skills in event planning, logistics, vendor management, and marketing. Across these diverse roles, I have gained extensive experience in business strategy development, budgeting, financial management, and client relations. I’ve developed strong skills in daily operations, inventory control, employee management, customer engagement, and compliance with regulations. My background in event coordination further includes logistics, contract negotiation, and promoting events, while my radio experience has provided me with expertise in on-air hosting, content creation, and social media promotion. With a well-rounded approach to business, entertainment, and media, I am dedicated to fostering growth, collaboration, and creativity in every venture I undertake.
